About RevCAT
- RevCAT is the first computerized adaptive test designed to assess receptive vocabulary in Cantonese-speaking children aged 2 years 6 months to 6 years 5 months. Developed through rigorous research, RevCAT has undergone validation to confirm its strong psychometric properties. The platform is designed to be user-friendly and employs adaptive technology that selects test items according to each child’s ability, thereby reducing testing time while maintaining accuracy. On average, the test can be completed in about 10 minutes. RevCAT provides speech therapists with an efficient and precise tool for the early identification of receptive vocabulary difficulties, enabling timely support and intervention.
Eligibility of RevCAT Test Administrators
Conducting RevCAT are available exclusively to:
- Qualified Speech Therapists
- Speech therapy students under the supervision of a qualified Speech Therapist
Student administrators must be supervised by a qualified Speech Therapist to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and professional integrity of the assessment process.
Proof of professional qualifications (for speech therapists) or student status in a Speech-Language Pathology program (for students) is required during the subscription application process.
Apply for a RevCAT Account
To access and administer the RevCAT assessment, the users must hold an active subscription. Please review the subscription cycles and activation timelines below:
- Subscriptions run on a calendar-year basis (1 January to 31 December) and always end on 31 December, regardless of your start date.
- Orders paid in full on or before 15 December are guaranteed to be activated by 1 January of the following year.
- For new subscriptions purchased during the active subscription period, access will be activated within two weeks once your order and payment have been received and verified.

Account Information and Policy for RevCAT Access
Each user must complete the Account Information for RevCAT Access section of this registration form. Existing users need to provide their RevCAT registered email address so their account can be activated for the upcoming subscription period while preserving their account history.
Important Notes
Individual Accounts & Subscriptions: Every RevCAT user must hold an individual account and a separate subscription. A separate set of account information must be submitted for each user.
No Account Sharing: Sharing accounts is strictly prohibited, including among colleagues or staff within the same organization.
Report Attribution: All generated RevCAT reports will display the name of the registered account holder.
Group / Multiple-User Orders: If you are purchasing subscriptions for multiple users within a single order:
- Complete the account information for the first user and add the subscription to your cart.
- Repeat the process for each additional user.
- The system will automatically calculate and apply the eligible volume discount based on the total number of subscriptions in your cart.
- The final discounted price will be displayed during review before you proceed to checkout.
