Refund & Exchange Policy

Professional Training Events

  1. Speech and Hearing Social Enterprise (SHSE) reserves the right to cancel event due to insufficient enrolment in order to ensure the best use of resources. All fees paid will be refunded in accordance with the related procedures.
  2. For applying for a refund, applicants need to submit the request by e-mail at the latest 7 days before the event day. SHSE will deduct 50% of the registration fee as administrative expenses and refund 50% of the fee to the participants. Refund request raised within 7 days before the event day will not be accepted.
  3. Due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen incidents, the SHSE reserves the right to either reschedule the event or conduct it online. All fee paid will not be refunded in such case.
  4. If SHSE cancel event due to administrative reason, all fees paid will be refunded in accordance with the related procedures.
  5. Refund would not be granted to participants who cannot attend the event due to personal reason. SHSE shall consider the request on a case-by-case basis for event postponement.
  6. SHSE reserves the right to amend the event details without prior notice and reserves the final decision on any disputes.

Speech Therapy Tools

All speech therapy tools are eligible for 7-day free replacement / refund policy (based on the delivery record), subject to the following terms. Please contact us before the returning the product.
  1. Non-returnable Items:
    - Any product that is returned more than 7 days after receipt
    - Any product that has been opened or used (taken out of its plastic wrap or box, if any)
    - Any product that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts
  2. All products are checked for quality before dispatch. Whilst we use our best efforts to ensure that the product is delivered to you in a perfect condition, the product may be damaged in the delivery process. Should this happen please return the damaged or wrong products by simply follow our Return Procedures. We do offer exchanges only if you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect product. We will arrange to re-send the product in the same form of shipping method originally used for purchase without extra delivery charge. If you have returned a damaged, defective, or incorrect product to us, the return shipping fee will also be refunded to you. Only in case the product was sold out, we'll refund the value of product in the same form of payment originally used for purchase.
