About this Seminar

Join the official launch of RevCAT 1.0, the first CAT vocabulary test designed to replace the 1996 CRVT. Discover the Growth Scale Value (GSV)—an equal-interval score that tracks a child's vocabulary growth over time—and see its use with real data. The event also highlights how clinicians can easily access ready-to-use PDF reports.

About Receptive Vocabulary Computerized Adaptive Test (RevCAT)

RevCAT is the first computerized adaptive test designed to assess receptive vocabulary in Cantonese-speaking children aged 2 years 6 months to 6 years 5 months. Developed through rigorous research, RevCAT has undergone validation to confirm its strong psychometric properties. The platform is designed to be user-friendly and employs adaptive technology that selects test items according to each child’s ability, thereby reducing testing time while maintaining accuracy. On average, the test can be completed in about 10 minutes. RevCAT provides speech therapists with an efficient and precise tool for the early identification of receptive vocabulary difficulties, enabling timely support and intervention.
